KNM is the first process equipment manufacturer to be accredited the ISO 9001 Quality Standard by ABS Quality Evaluations Inc of USA since 1997 in Malaysia. On 20 January 2004, KNM obtained the new standard ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. The new standard which is in addition to quality assurance of product also aims to enhance customer satisfaction.

KNM is accredited and authorised to use the ASME U, U2,  R and S Stamps by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers since 1997. KNM is also authorised by The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors to register boilers, pressure vessels or other pressure retaining items in accordance with its provisions.

KNM is also the first process equipment manufacturer to be accredited the AD-Merkblatter HP-O and TRD 201 in conjunction with DIN EN 729-2 by TÜV Süddeutschland of Germany in Malaysia on April 2000.
