KNM's BORSIG membrane technology offers the possibility to treat gas flows in oil and gas production application. The aim is to condition raw gas flows or to improve product quality to comply with pipeline specifications or calorific-value requirements. The required gas quality is typically specified by defining pressure dew points, calorific values or a minimum methane number. All these quality parameters are determined by the share of higher hydrocarbons in the gas.

In view of the low degree of process complexity and the compact equipment design, BORSIG’s membrane technology is also suitable for use at offshore facilities or in autonomous operating stations with a low operator attendance and monitoring level. The special advantages of this technology are its high reliability and availability, automatic operation and limited monitoring and maintenance requirements.
