1.  Columns & Towers

The KNM Group through KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd provides turnkey services from design, engineering, fabrication, blasting, painting, delivery and installation of internal trays of columns & towers for our customers. The fabrication process is carried out under strict adherence to international standards. In 1999, KNM successfully manufactured and delivered one of the world’s largest single piece process columns, the Propylene-Propane Splitter for the Propane Dehydrogenation Plant in Malaysia. The feat earned the company a place in the Malaysian Book of Records and a Special Mention Award by Petronas. Since then, KNM has manufactured and delivered many columns and towers of up to 13 mø with over 100 m length and weighing 1,000 mT to many of its customers worldwide.

KNM’s strength Is its ability to manufacture such large, heavy and long column & towers in its covered shops around the world to any international codes and standards. KNM’s unique capability is to perform PWHT of columns and towers with no restriction in size under one single firing which is a rare feat.  KNM also offers its customers a one stop centre to include installation of material trays and insulations if required.
